| Lost foam process (EPC) is a new casting technique
industrialized in developed countries in the 1980s. Compared with
traditional casting process, lost foam process has unparalleled
advantage and is valued by experts as "the casting technique
for 21 century", "the green revolution in casting industry".
The casts produced by lost foam process have the following features:
1． High-quality of casting with precise size and smooth-faced;
no special requirement for material; reduced trimming work and
mechanical processing; Fewer inner flaws, and more compact structure.
2． Environmental-protecting. Working conditions could be improved
